The problem
Pixel Interior, a Singapore interior design firm, was running its bookkeeping in patchwork spreadsheets. The owner pulled bank statements every month, categorised transactions one by one, and hand-tracked when GST and ACRA deadlines were coming up. Hours a week sunk into admin that wasn't building the business — and a constant low-grade anxiety about missing a statutory filing.
The solution
Nova replaced the patchwork with a Telegram-based back office. Bank statements (UOB, DBS) get parsed and categorised automatically; transactions auto-reconcile, with anything ambiguous routed back to the owner via a quick Telegram prompt. Monthly P&L reports arrive in chat. Statutory deadlines — GST, ACRA, AGM — are tracked centrally and pinged ahead of time. No new app to learn; the interface is just Telegram.
The result
Monthly bookkeeping compressed from a half-day of manual reconciliation to a 10-minute review-and-confirm. Statutory filings stopped being a thing the owner had to remember. Time previously sunk into admin returned to client work.
